UK Coastguard requested the launch of our Atlantic 85 lifeboat following multiple reports of 2 swimmers caught in the current at the end of the breakwater. When the lifeboat arrived on scene the crew spoke to the swimmers however they refused the assistance of the crew being confident they could get back to the slipway.
