Our volunteers launched our Atlantic 85 on service at the request of UK Coastguard. 2 kayakers were reported to be in difficulties off Hutchwns Point. We arrived on scene and located the kayakers who had come ashore at Windsor Road beach. We directed Porthcawl Coastguard Rescue Team to the kayakers location and they confirmed the kayakers were the ones we had launched for and no further persons were involved. We were stood down and returned to station. The Coastguard Search and Rescue helicopter from St Athan also attended the incident.
