Both our Atlantic 85 and IB1 (D class) were launched to persons cut off by the tide and stranded on cliffs near Witches Point. The Atlantic 85 was first on scene and upon arrival found that the casualties had been assisted to safety by Llantwit Major Coastguard team. Once it was confirmed there were no further casualties both boats were stood down and returned to station.
