Porthcawl RNLI’s volunteer crew relaunched immediately after they had assisted a surfer at Rhych Point following a report that two paddleboarders were in difficulty at Newton Point.
The charity’s Atlantic 85 Rose of the Shires arrived on scene to find the two paddleboarders had made it ashore at Newton Beach and required no further assistance.
In a coastal emergency dial 999 or 112 and ask for the Coastguard.
