Porthcawl RNLI’s volunteer crew were tasked by HM Coastguard to assist with a multi-agency search for a missing person between Sandy Bay and Ogmore by Sea.

The charity’s Atlantic 85 lifeboat Rose of the Shires was launched on service to assist with the search. The lifeboat conducted a shoreline search with nothing found and were stood down by HM Coastguard.
