Porthcawl RNLI’s volunteer crew were tasked by HM Coastguard immediately following launch 53 following a report a swimmer was in difficulty at the Ogmore river mouth.

The charity’s D Class lifeboat Hugo Missen assisted the swimmer, taking them onboard the lifeboat and dropped them ashore at Ogmore Beach.
