Porthcawl RNLI’s volunteer crew were tasked by HM Coastguard following concerns from the parent of two open water swimmers who were swimming some way off their original agreed course.

The charity’s Atlantic 85 lifeboat Rose of the Shires made best speed to the location. Once on scene with the swimmers they were brough onboard the lifeboat and returned back to the lifeboat station.

In a coastal emergency dial 999 or 112 and ask for the Coastguard.
