As the volunteer crew prepared to depart Ogmore By Sea after dropping all the casualties ashore from the earlier service call (launch 34 & 35 / 2021) they were alerted to five further people cut off by the tide on the Newton side of the Ogmore river.

The D Class crew onboard the charity’s relief lifeboat, Super G II transferred the five people across to the Ogmore side.

The lifeboats were then both stood down and returned to the lifeboat station to be refueled and made ready for service.
