Porthcawl RNLI’s volunteer crew were tasked by HM Coastguard following multiple reports that a child and adult were in difficulty in a dinghy at the mouth of Ogmore river.
The charity’s Atlantic 85 Rose of the Shires was launched on service and made best speed towards Ogmore By Sea. The crew were stood down from the incident when around half way there following confirmation that both casualties were safely ashore.
