UK Coastguard tasked our volunteer crew following a report of a person cut off by the tide and stuck on rocks at Dunraven Bay, Southerndown.

The charity’s D Class Super G II carried out a shoreline search and found nobody in difficulty. The team from Llantwit Coastguard were soon advised the person had self recovered and was safe and well and the lifeboat and coastguard team were stood down.
In a coastal emergency dial 999 or 112 and ask for the Coastguard.

The health crisis has hit our income hard. Lockdown halted the fundraising events we rely on to power our lifesaving service. Support our volunteer crew by donating to: Porthcawl RNLI Lifesavers’ Fund 2021.
