Porthcawl RNLI’s volunteer crew were tasked by HM Coastguard to a report of a swimmer in difficulty off Ogmore By Sea.
The charity’s Atlantic 85 Rose of the Shires made best speed to the location. Once on scene they located the swimmer who had made their way out of the water and required no further assistance.
The lifeboat was then stood down from the incident and returned to station.
