Porthcawl RNLI’s volunteer crew were tasked by HM Coastguard to assist with a multi-agency search taking place in the early hours of the morning.

The crew were stood down shortly after launching the charity’s Atlantic 85 lifeboat Rose of the Shires following confirmation that all had been resolved.

Porthcawl Coastguard team were also tasked to the incident.
