Porthcawl RNLI’s volunteer crew were tasked by HM Coastguard (whilst returning from an earlier launch to Rest Bay) following a report 2 swimmers were in difficulty at Dunraven Bay, Southerndown.
The charity’s D Class lifeboat Hugo Missen made best speed to Southerndown. Once on scene it was established that all persons had made it ashore and were safe and well. The lifeboat was then stood and began to make its way back to the lifeboat station.
