The Atlantic 85 lifeboat was returning from an earlier call when it received an immediate tasking to two swimmers in difficulty who were being assisted by off duty lifeguards at Rhych Point. The lifeboat made best speed to the location. When the lifeboat arrived on scene the casualties were both being supported by an off duty lifeguards on a rescue paddle board. Both casualties were taken onboard the lifeboat and back to Sandy Bay requiring no further medical attention.
