HM Coastguard tasked Porthcawl RNLI’s volunteer crew following a report they’d received from Porthcawl NCI. 3 surfers had been swept around the point at Rest Bay.
Once the lifeboat arrived on scene along with Porthcawl Coastguard team the crew established all surfers had made it safely ashore and required no further assistance.
The lifeboat was stood down and returned to station where it was made ready for service.
In a coastal emergency dial 999 or 112 and ask for the Coastguard.
