UK Coastguard tasked Porthcawl RNLI’s volunteer crew to assist a kite surfer. Porthcawl’s D Class lifeboat was launched on service.

The kite surfer was assisted by an RNLI Lifeguard and self rescued shortly before the D Class lifeboat arrived on scene.
