As our Atlantic 85 was completing a tow at Newton UK Coastguard gave the crew a further tasking. The tasking was to a group of tombstoners at Ogmore Deeps which Porthcawl NCI had raised concerns for. We stayed on scene and gave some safety advice until our colleagues from Llantwit Major Coastguard arrived to provide further safety
As we washed the lifeboat from an early shout UK Coastguard paged our volunteers. This call was for our Atlantic 85 lifeboat to a broken down dinghy off Newton Point. The dinghy was taken under tow and back to Newton slipway.
UK Coastguard paged our volunteers who launched the D Class Lifeboat to two people and a dog cut off by the tide at the Ogmore River. They were attempting to cross the river. They were taken across to the Ogmore side to ensure they didn't risk swimming and getting swept out by the current.

Our Atlantic 85 was diverted from training exercise by UK Coastguard to assist a broken down fishing boat which had suffered engine failure near Nash Point. UK Coastguard paged our crew and our D Class lifeboat was launched on service to recover a person in the water. The crew gave casualty care before the casualty was transferred to hospital by ambulance.
Our volunteer crew launched our Atlantic 85 lifeboat at the request of UK Coastguard to assist with a multi-agency incident near Nash Point.
UK Coastguard requested that our D Class lifeboat diverted from a training exercise to investigate two swimmers Porthcawl NCI had expressed concern for. The D Class had been involved in filming for BBC Wales' X-Ray Programme at Rest Bay along with colleagues from RNLI lifeguards for a feature about beach and water safety. The crew were quickly

Our Atlantic 85 lifeboat was launched following a request from UK Coastguard. A girl on a Stand Up Paddleboard was unable to get back to the beach at Pink Bay and despite her best efforts the tide and offshore wind were too strong. Her father was concerned for her safety and had called UK Coastguard.
