Porthcawl RNLI’s volunteer crew were paged by HM Coastguard following a report from 3 paddleboarders who were disorientated and unsure of their location in the dark off Newton point. The charity’s Atlantic 85 Rose of the Shires was launched on service and swiftly located the 3 paddleboarders and escorted them safely back to the beach at Newton.
