Porthcawl RNLI’s volunteer crew were tasked by HM Coastguard following a report that a person was in difficulty in the water at Trecco Bay.

The charity’s Atlantic 85 lifeboat Rose of the Shires was launched on service. Once on scene Porthcawl Coastguard (who were already in attendance) confirmed that the person had made it safely ashore and was safe and well.

The crew were stood down and returned to station.
