Porthcawl RNLI’s volunteer crew were tasked by HM Coastguard to assist with a multi-agency search for a missing person at Sandy Bay.

The charity’s Atlantic 85 lifeboat Rose of the Shires was launched on service to assist with the search. The crew were stood down after approximately 5 minutes following confirmation that all had been resolved.
