UK Coastguard requested the launch of our Atlantic 85 lifeboat to two paddleboarders off Newton Point. Having originally left the beach at Sandy Bay (Coney Beach) they were unable to get back against the tide and were being assisted by an RNLI lifeguard. The two paddleboarders and RNLI lifeguard were taken onboard the lifeboat and dropped back to the beach at Sandy Bay.
